Had Enough with Rising Property Taxes?
Did you know?
Town level governments in New Hampshire receive less aid from the State as a percentage of local revenue than 43 other states, and fewer dollars per capita than 47 other states.

Local governments in New Hampshire, including counties, cities, towns, and school districts, are more reliant on property taxes for overall revenue than local governments in any other state in the country.

And what is happening at the State House that keeps this tax pressure on local homeowners like us?

Answer: The system up in the State House is rigged to favor big corporations and the wealthy. Here’s our first example of state revenue that has been lost, requiring the continual downward pressure on homeowners (and renters) to make up the difference.
HB155 (passed by the House in January, still in process) gives large corporations FURTHER REDUCTIONS on their Business and Enterprise taxes. It cuts another 26M more on top of the already 700M to 1.17B (previous cuts from 2015-2024)
These NH House Representatives that are supposed to be representing our interests voted to give big business this tax cut
